Sporting Kansas City signed 20-year-old striker Wilson Harris as a Homegrown Player on Oct. 21, 2020. He has scored 23 goals for Sporting Kansas City II since 2018, notably becoming the youngest USL Championship player to eclipse 20 career goals.

2020: Earned Sporting KC II MVP and USL Championship Young Player of the Year accolades. ​MLS regular season: Did not feature. MLS is Back Tournament: Did not feature. MLS Cup Playoffs: Did not feature. USL Championship: Started 13 of 16 appearances and led Sporting KC II with eight goals.

2019: USL Championship: Started 19 of 25 appearances, recording 12 goals (1,504 minutes played). Scored the lone Rangers goal in a 3-1 defeat vs. Indy Eleven on April 15. Got his second goal of the season on June 5 vs. Loudoun United tying the game up right before halftime. Scored his third goal at Atlanta United 2 on August 16. Scored the lone Rangers goal against New York Red Bulls II on August 24. Converted a penalty kick against Memphis 901 FC on September 7. Scored the eventual game-winning goal against North Carolina FC on September 14. Scored twice against Charlotte Independence on September 21.  

2018: Harris began the season on an Academy contract with the Rangers but signed his first professional contract with the club on July 3. He made 15 appearances, including seven starts, and tallied three goals during his first professional season. Harris made his pro debut on May 5 in a 1-0 road win against OKC Energy FC before scoring his first goal for the club in a 4-1 away defeat to Fresno FC on June 17. His next goal came in another road loss, coming in a 2-1 setback at Portland Timbers 2 on July 14. Harris’ third and final goal of the campaign came in the regular-season finale – a 5-1 victory over LA Galaxy II at Children’s Mercy Park on Oct. 14. Harris played the closing stages as a substitute in the USL Cup Playoffs Western Conference Semifinal against Phoenix Rising FC on Oct. 26.

SKC Academy: Harris joined the Sporting KC Academy ahead of the 2017-18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season and has made 10 appearances for the Under-19 team, leading the squad with 11 goals.
