TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
Sporting Kansas City have signed forward Wilson Harris to Homegrown deal, the club announced Wednesday.
Harris, 20, became the youngest player to score 20 career goals in the USL Championship. He had 23 goals in all for Sporting KC II, leading the team in goals this year.
The forward has represented the United States at the U-16, U-18 and U-20 levels. He helped the U.S. U-15s to a fifth-place finish at the 2015 Open Nordic Cup in Sweden and was part of a U.S. U-20 squad that traveled to Honduras for friendly matches in May 2018.
Harris is the 8th academy product in Sporting's current first team roster. He'll be available for selection this weekend against the Colorado Rapids (8:30 pm ET | TV & streaming info).
