Two stars are returning for the LA Galaxy on Sunday night.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romain Alessandrini both have been named to the Galaxy's starting XI against the Portland Timbers. Neither player has played since the club's first match of the season.
Alessandrini limped out of the opening match with a hamstring injury while Ibrahimovic lasted the full 90, but has been out with an Achilles injury.
Meanwhile, the Timbers have made some changes as well. Jorge Villafaña, Andy Polo, Dairon Asprilla and Lucas Melano all start on the bench as Giovanni Savarese has shifted his formation to a 5-2-3 with three center backs.
The Timbers are searching for their first win of 2019.
