On the 1-year anniversary of his magical MLS debut against rivals LAFC, Zlatan Ibrahimovic put on another show in Week 5.
Early on, Ibrahimovic narrowly missed out on a potential goal of the season -- a flexible volley reminiscent of his memorable 500th career goal last season against Toronto FC:
Zlatan wasn't to be denied much longer, winning and scoring a penalty in the 33rd minute to give the Galaxy the lead over the Portland Timbers.
In the second half it was a familiar story. Ibrahimovic won another penalty, stepped up and buried it. The only difference? He scored the second with panache, clipping a delightful panenka.
