Friday will be the busiest single day of MLS competition since March 7, when eight teams begin their Phase 1 schedules of the revised 2020 MLS regular season. All the games kick off within a half hour of each other, so we hope you've got your picture-in-picture viewing ready.
Here's the rundown on each game.
FC Cincinnati vs. D.C. United

After closing out MLS is Back group play with consecutive victories, Cincinnati will attempt to set a club record with a third consecutive league win, all under new manager Jaap Stam.
Meanwhile, D.C. will be looking for a better start after conceding first in their last four games. They'll also be without midfielder Felipe, who's serving a one-game suspension (Disciplinary Committee decision) for his challenge on Montreal Impact midfielder Victor Wanyama in their final Group C match last month.
Minnesota United vs. Sporting Kansas City
7:30 pm ET | ESPN+, MLS LIVE on DAZN in Canada (local TV)
It's a rematch of one of the most compelling matches of the MLS is Back Tournament, when the Loons recorded a late 2-1 win. They took advantage of Tim Melia getting sent off to stage a dramatic comeback, capped by Kevin Molino's goal in seventh minute of second-half stoppage time.
Sporting KC recovered to win Group D before exiting in the quarterfinal stage, leaving head coach Peter Vermes to voice his displeasure. Now they'll be heading to Allianz Field with first place in the Western Conference standings on the line.
Houston Dynamo vs. FC Dallas

New Dynamo head coach Tab Ramos gets his first taste of the Texas Derby when FC Dallas pays a visit to BBVA Stadium. Luchi Gonzalez's team will be looking to make it three straight years of lifting El Capitan, arguably the most distinct “trophy” among all the MLS rivalries.
FCD may have a fitness edge, having played twice last week. But they failed to score in either match while only taking a point off visiting Nashville SC, and new striker addition Franco Jara remains in search of his first MLS tally.
Toronto FC vs Vancouver Whitecaps
8 pm ET | TSN 4/5, ESPN+ in US (Local TV)
Toronto dominated their first meeting with Vancouver on Tuesday, as Pablo Piatti opened his account with a brace in a 3-0 win. The quick turnaround could mean Jozy Altidore comes off the bench for TFC after making his first start since March and playing 57 minutes on Tuesday. His potential replacement, Ayo Akinola, is questionable with a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, Canada striker Lucas Cavallini had Vancouver's only shot on goal Tuesday. He's still searching for his first goal in a Whitecaps jersey.
