Alphonso Davies has been making Vancouver Whitecaps fans smile all year, but it was the youngster’s turn to show his pearly whites on All-Star Selection Friday. Davies, perhaps not realizing that he’s about to get some incredible news, was told by his coach Carl Robinson that he’d be chosen as a Commissioner's Pick to face Juventus next month, joining Bradley Wright-Phillips as Don Garber's selection for the upcoming exhibition.

Off the field he may be all smiles, but on it Davies is all business. The 17 year-old Canadian has certainly earned his spot on the team as his electrifying performances and seven assists have the Whitecaps fighting for a Western Conference playoff spot.
