BMO Field renderings, post-renovation construction

The existing and future stadiums of Major League Soccer teams are a popular topic these days, and even though it's only Tuesday, this week has brought about new details and status updates in three markets — Toronto,Orlando and Atlanta.

Toronto's BMO Field is getting not only a massive 8,400-seat expansion, but also a facelift that includes a number of new suites and private clubs, and a canopy covering three of the stadium's four stands. The above video features 3-D digital renderings of what the new BMO Field will look like.

Orlando City, who broke ground on their new soccer-specific stadium in downtown Orlando, also have a video update of their project from the Orlando Business Journal, though its very early stages of the construction process.

But heavy machines are digging into the ground, and that's always a good thing.

And finally, there's the MLS newcomers still a couple years down the road. Atlanta club president Darren Eales tweeted out the latest rendering of the downtown, 70,000-seat (roughly 30,000 for soccer) stadium which will be home to the NFL's Falcons and the expansion MLS side upon completion in 2017.
