You want some stadium renderings? Well, it's your lucky day because St. Louis MLS has some photos to share.
The expansion side, set to join the league in 2022, have partnered with local architecture firm HOK and architect Julie Snow, co-founder of Snow Kreilich Architects, to bring their stadium to reality. The Downtown West venue, a $250-million-plus plan for a 22,500-seat stadium that will also contain practice fields and a team headquarters next to the stadium, is inching closer to breaking ground.
Owner Carolyn Kindle Betz told reporters last week that they hope to put shovels in the ground this spring and, until then, the club have released updated renderings.

"We want this stadium to connect people with both soccer and the surrounding city so the energy and excitement flows through the surrounding district and the entire downtown area," said Kindle Betz. "It will be an excellent experience for fans that’s open, accessible and inclusive of the surrounding neighborhood. It represents the best of St. Louis and we can’t wait for it to become a reality.”

“As the stadium design continues to evolve, the ownership group’s vision to create a stadium district that will be the heart of St. Louis soccer and continue St. Louis’ growth and revitalization hasn’t changed," said Julie Snow, co-founder of Snow Kreilich Architects. "Making the stadium more accessible from 22nd street and adjusting planting locations to create a more active public environment will only enhance the stadium’s ability to connect Downtown West and extend the Gateway Mall, while directing it north and south.”
