Swansea City aren’t the only club that appear to be interested in former US national team manager Bob Bradley.
Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl reported on Wednesday that Bradley, currently the manager at French Ligue 2 side Le Havre, is drawing significant interest from MLS expansion club LAFC, who will join the league in 2018.
Wahl also confirmed Tuesday’s BBC report that Bradley recently met with Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins. The Premier League club, currently mired in 17th place, are partially owned by D.C. United managing general partner Jason Levien. LA Galaxy attacker Landon Donovan is a consultant for the Premiership's only Welsh club.
As Wahl noted, Bradley has ties to LAFC head of soccer operations John Thorrington, who received three of his four US national team caps while Bradley led the team.
Bradley, 58, is currently in his first full season with French Ligue 2 club Le Havre. Prior to taking over the USMNT in December 2006, he managed Chicago, New York and Chivas USA in MLS.
