The New England Revolution open up their home slate Saturday afternoon, meeting longtime Eastern Conference foe Columbus Crew SC.
The Revs rallied from an early deficit to draw FC Dallas, 1-1, last week with newcomer Carles Gil scoring a second-half equalizer on his debut. Meanwhile, Crew SC battled the New York Red Bulls to a 1-1 stalemate after Gaston Sauro latched onto a Federico Higuain corner kick late in the first half to draw level. The game marked Columbus' first under new head coach Caleb Porter.
