Major League Soccer announced Friday that Major League Soccer today announced that the match between the Colorado Rapids and the LA Galaxy, scheduled for Saturday at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, has been postponed.
The postponement comes after one new confirmed positive case of COVID-19 among the Rapids player pool. It is the fourth Rapids game that has been postponed since the first set of positive tests were returned for players and staff on Sept. 23. The Rapids had originally returned to training on Monday, but then had their Wednesday game against LAFC postponed after one new confirmed positive case in the team staff.

Following one new confirmed case of COVID-19 among the Colorado Rapids player pool, Major League Soccer, in consultation with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, as well as the league’s infectious disease experts, has postponed the match to ensure the health and safety of all players and staff.
