Sean Davis joined Nashville SC in 2022 as a free agent acquisition after spending the first seven years of his MLS career with the New York Red Bulls. Davis was the only Nashville SC player to appear in all 34 regular season matches in 2022 and led the outfield players in minutes played with 2,843. Davis has 217 MLS appearances between regular season and Audi MLS Cup Playoff competition. He scored his first Nashville goal on July 3 vs. Portland Timbers.
