2020 (Philadelphia II): Harriel was a mainstay on Philadelphia Union II defensive back line, making 13 appearances (13 starts) and adding an assist in 950 minutes...Harriel recorded his first career assist for the club against Hartford Athletic (Sept. 30)...The Union traded a 2021 MLS SuperDraft first round pick to Orlando City SC in exchange for Harriel’s Homegrown Player rights, and on July 17, Harriel signed a pre-contract with the Philadelphia Union that would take effect on January 1, 2021.
2019 (Philadelphia II): Harriel made 23 appearances (12 starts) as an amateur for Philadelphia Union II, logging 1,897 minutes in USL Championship competition...Harriel made his debut appearance for Union II in a start against North Carolina (March 16).
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Harriel has made multiple appearances with United States Youth National teams. He has been called up to U18, U19, U20 and U23 teams, earning 11 appearances across the four teams.
In his most recent appearance with the U20 team, he netted his first youth national goal in a 2-2 draw during a friendly against Mexico (Jan. 18, 2020).
In 2023, Harriel earned four caps for the U23 USMNT, making his debut on Oct. 12, 2023 against Mexico U23…Appeared against Japan (10/18/23) and Iraq (11/18/23).
YOUTH EXPERIENCE
Harriel spent 3 years (2015-2018) with Chargers Soccer Club based out of Clearwater, FL. He played with the U-13/14, U-15/16, and U-16/17 squads. He made 92 appearances, 71 starts, and scored 21 goals in his time with the club. After his move to Philadelphia Union Academy in 2018, he made 13 appearances for the U-18/19 squad, starting 12 of those games and scoring one goal.
