Hassani Dotson

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2025 (Minnesota United FC): Dotson was limited to eight regular-season matches for Minnesota in 2025, suffering a torn meniscus just five games into the regular season. He scored one goal against Sporting Kansas City (March 15). After returning from injury, Dotson came on as a substitute in four postseason matches for the Loons.

2024 (Minnesota United FC): Dotson built on his successful 2023 campaign with a five-goal, four-assist 2024 MLS season, appearing in 29 matches (26 starts). He started all three of Minnesota’s 2024 MLS Cup Playoff fixtures, as well as Leagues Cup 2024 match against Seattle.

2023 (Minnesota United FC): In his return from injury, Dotson made 40 appearances in all competitions, including being the only member on Minnesota to appear in all 34 regular season matches. He scored four goals and tallied five assists in all competitions as well.

2022 (Minnesota United FC): Suffered a torn ACL at the beginning of the season, limiting him to eight appearances in all competitions with one goal two assists.

2021 (Minnesota United FC): Started 26 of his 29 appearances in league play, scoring two goals and adding three assists. Appeared Minnesota’s lone playoff match against Portland.

2020 (Minnesota United FC): Appeared in 18 matches (12 starts), scoring one goal and adding one assist. Tallied an assist in the Loons’ MLS is Back Quarterfinals win over San Jose. Also played in all three of Minnesota’s 2019 MLS Cup Playoff matches, helping the club make a run to the Western Conference Finals before losing 3-2 to Seattle.

2019 (Minnesota United FC): Made 24 appearances (15 starts) for Minnesota in regular season action, scoring four goals. Dotson also made five appearances for Minnesota during its 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup run, where it finished runners-up to Atlanta United FC.

COLLEGIATE EXPERIENCE

Dotson appeared in 72 games (68 starts) for Oregon State from 2015-2018, scoring five goals and adding three assists. He played every minute of his senior season with the Beavers, earning Second Team All-Pac-12 honors.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dotson has five appearances at the U-23 level for the United States, scoring two goals.

YOUTH EXPERIENCE

Dotson played for local development teams Crossfire Academy and Washington Premier before playing collegiately at Oregon State University.
