2022: A pre-season signing from Corinthians, Pereira enjoyed a stellar maiden campaign in Bronx blue, bagging nine goals and four assists in 29 MLS appearances. An impressive August saw the Brazilian scoop the Etihad Player of the Month award, while he was also shortlisted for the MLS Newcomer of the Year prize. After helping the Club to Campeones Cup glory, he claimed two goals and two assists in his next four games, setting NYCFC on our way in the playoffs with a fine curled finish in our Round One success over Inter Miami.
2020: A native of São Paulo, the Brazilian made 48 First Team appearances for Corinthians and recorded two goals and three assists. Pereira also gained Continental Cup experience, having played in the Copa Sudamericana in 2021.
