Arquimides āQuimiā OrdoƱez signed as the clubās second-ever Homegrown Player on July 3, 2021. Ordonez joined the FC Cincinnati Academy in the programās inaugural 2019-20 season, previously spending time with Kings Hammer Academy and Cincinnati United Premier.
2023 (FC Cincinnati): Appeared in 8 games, starting in four and totaling a career-high 277 minutes ā¦ made his first career start on April 14 vs. St. Louis City FC where he played 45 minutes ā¦ from there he started his first full game in a 1-0 US Open Cup victory against Louisville on April 26, a year after his debut with the club ā¦ made 11 appearances, all starts, for FC Cincinnati 2, where he led the team with nine goals, adding three assists ā¦ over a three-game stretch from March 27-April 30, scored six total goals and added an assist.
2022 (FC Cincinnati): Appeared in eight games, totaling 85 minutes ā¦ made his season debut on April 24 vs. LAFC, coming on as a substitute deep into the match ā¦ recorded a career-high three shots on his first career shot on target on July 17 at Columbus ā¦ With FC Cincinnati 2 in MLS NEXT Pro, appeared in 13 games, all starts, where he scored four goals and added one assist ā¦ scored the game-winner in the clubās first home match against Toronto FC II on April 3 in the 2-1 win.
2021 (FC Cincinnati): Appeared in four games, totaling 37 minutes on the field ā¦ made his debut in Nashville on July 24 with 16 minutes off the bench, becoming the first Homegrown Player in club history to debut with the first team ā¦ made appearances vs. New York Red Bulls (Oct. 2), at Inter Miami CF (Oct. 23) and vs. Nashville SC (Oct. 27).
ACADEMY: Made 14 appearances, including 13 starts, scoring six goals in the 2019-20 DA regular season ā¦ previously played for Columbus Crew SC Academy ā¦ made 22 appearances, scoring nine goals, in the 2018-19 DA season ā¦ made one appearance in the 2017-18 DA season with the U-16-17ās ā¦ made 22 appearances, scoring eight goals, in the 2017-18 DA season with the U-15āsā¦ made four appearances, scoring one goal, in the 2016-17 DA season with the U-14ās ā¦ made 21 appearances, scoring 12 goals, in the 2016-17 DA season with the U-13ās ā¦ participated in DA Showcase and played in the Generation adidas Cup.
INTERNATIONAL: Earned two caps with the Guatemala National Team in International Friendlies in 2022, making his debut against Colombia on Sept. 25 and earning his first start against Honduras on Sept. 27 ā¦ with the Guatemala U-20 National Team in June 2022 where he impressed in the Concacaf U-20 Championship by scoring five goals in six appearances as part of Guatemalaās run to the semifinals to qualify for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia in May 2023 ā¦. OrdoƱez earned Best XI honors at the Concacaf U-20 Championship and was the only player in the competition to score in all three group stage matches, followed by goals against Mexico in the quarterfinals and against the Dominican Republic in the semifinals.
