Career Summary

Austin acquired Adam Lundkvist in January 2023 via a trade with Houston Dynamo FC. Lundkvist spent the 2018-2022 seasons in Houston, making 121 appearances and recording 12 assists.

Prior to moving to Major League Soccer, Lundkvist spent four seasons with IF Elfsborg in his native Sweden. He made 145 appearances in all competitions for Elfsborg, tallying three goals, 18 assists, and winning the Swedish Cup in 2014.

Lundkvist represented the Sweden senior men’s national team in a pair of international friendlies in 2016, earning an assist in a 3-0 victory over Finland.
