Perry Kitchen's Lamborghini made international headlines earlier this year when the former D.C. United midfielder headed abroad to play for Scottish side Heart of Midlothian. As it turned out, the flashy dream car couldn't travel with him--sad trombone.
In any event, the contest in which Kitchen won the year lease for that car is back. As you might recall from last year, in What'Cha Got, a series presented by Continental Tire, various MLS players and personalities compete in a driving time trial on a track. The fastest at the end of the season gets to keep a set of fancy wheels for a year--this time around, it's an Audi R8.
Kitchen beat out Sporting Kansas City's Dom Dwyer in last year's final, and the excitement starts again this Sunday, July 24 when a new episode comes out. First on the track? New York Red Bulls goalkeeping great Luis Robles.
Check out the teaser for this season--and yes, MLS fans might recognize a familiar face in the hosting ranks, too!
