Sporting Kansas City jumped all over Liga MX's Toluca in the first leg of their Round of 16 Concacaf Champions League series on Thursday night. Sporting beat the Mexican club to the tune of 3-0 at Children's Mercy Park.
The night was capped off with an incredible volley from defensive midfielder Ilie. The Spaniard has scored four goals in two years with SKC, but all have come from the penalty spot.
Krisztian Nemeth and Gerso Fernandes provided the other two goals on the night as the MLS club will look to hold onto their lead when they travel down to Mexico next Friday.
