FC Cincinnati's new home is getting closer to being game day ready with the recent installation of the pitch at West End Stadium.
The pitch will be of natural grass and was installed this week. The club worked with the Cincinnati-based Motz Group to design and build the pitch. It's just the latest construction update from Cincinnati in the last year, which has seen many of the last touches on the stadium put in place, including renderings featuring an elaborate external light display featuring the club's colors and illuminated logo, in a similar vein to Minnesota United's Allianz Field and a supporters' group tour of the venue in August.
West End Stadium is expected to open this year.
