Tuesday night was a sour occasion for D.C. United at RFK Stadium, but at least rookie Julian Buescher gave the Black-and-Red faithful something to smile about.
An early goal from Angel Sepulveda allowed Queretaro to hold off the Black-and-Red and book passage to the semifinals of the CONCACAF Champions League with a 1-1 draw that gave the Mexican club a 3-1 aggregate win.
Buescher, however, provided the game's top highlight when he came off the bench and produced a stunning strike from distance to equalize in the late going.

The German midfielder from Syracuse hit his shot with nasty dip, and a subtle but wicked spin that carried it away from Queretaro goalkeeper Tiago Volpi before kissing the right post on its way into the net.
The 11th overall selection in the 2016 SuperDraft can count on plenty more playing time this year if he keeps this up.
