The action in the final week of the regular season did not disappoint, including in its array of Save of the Week contenders.
Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson and Real Salt Lake veteran Nick Rimando were both nominated for a second straight week thanks to excellent reaction saves on Péguy Luyindula and Erick "Cubo" Torres, respectively.
And a Toronto FC shotstopper made the list again this week — this time it was Joe Bendik, who preserved the Reds' upset of Montreal with a point-blank block of Davy Arnaud.
They were joined by D.C. United's Bill Hamid, who made a spectacular double save to keep his side in the running against Houston on Sunday. Also on this week's list: a crucial block by Matt Reis, who might just have secured the New England Revolution's playoff spot with his denial of Columbus speedster Dominic Oduro.
