Goalkeepers were kept busy across MLS last week, but only five have made the shortlist for the next MLS Save of the Week award.
Jon Busch is in contention thanks to his denial of Warren Creavalle in San Jose's win over Houston, while the Portland Timbers' Donovan Ricketts makes his return to SOTW consideration thanks to a strong stop on Bradley Wright-Phillips.
Stefan Frei made a costly mistake to allow Gershon Koffie to score Vancouver's second goal on Saturday, but redeemed himself with a late, late block on the Whitecaps midfielder to preserve a road point for the Seattle Sounders.
D.C. United's Bill Hamid was also on song with his save of a Giles Barnes effort at midweek, while Montreal netminder Troy Perkins did well to deny Kamani Hill a second tally in the Colorado Rapids' 4-1 spanking of the Impact.
