Leg 1 of the Eastern Conference Championship was narrowly won by the Montreal Impact, who defeated Toronto FC 3-2 at Olympic Stadium last week.
Things could have turned out much worse for Toronto after going down 3-0 at the start of the second half, but they were able to fight back thanks to goals from Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley.
Going into Leg 2 on Wednesday night at BMO Field (7 pm ET; FS1 and FOX Deportes in USA; TSN and RDS in Canada), both teams have a fair chance at advancing to the MLS Cup final. Any draw would see the Impact through, but if either team wins, the picture is less clear.
