It won't do much to ease the pain of Vancouver's dwindling playoff hopes, but Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted bagged a well-earned win in the latest edition of the MLS Save of the Week presented by Phillips 66 Lubricants.
Ousted's last-gasp, cat-like parry of a goal-bound shot in the Seattle Sounders' 1-0 win over Vancouver on Saturday edged out Colorado Rapids 'keeper Tim Howard in the bracket final. In prior rounds, Ousted's effort outpolled Columbus' Steve Clark and Josh Saunders of NYCFC.
The Week 28 title is Ousted's first SOTW honor of the season.
