The inaugural edition of the Concacaf Nations League sees the United States grouped with rivals Canada and Cuba in Group A of the top tier, League A, in the federation.
Nations League group stage play got underway in September as Canada saw past Cuba 6-0 at home before hitting the road against the same opponents for another game on Tuesday. The USMNT will kick off their Nations League matches in October.
The four group winners in League A will advance to the semifinals while the bottom teams in each group of three will be relegated to League B after the round-robin group phase. The top two teams in each group will also qualify for the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, while the four relegated teams will compete in qualifying playoffs.
