The rematch is the order of the day in the final round of the Copa America Centenario.
The US national team will take on their first competitor in the competition, Colombia, in the third-place match on Saturday at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. (8 pm ET, FX, Univision, UDN). Colombia defeated the US 2-0 in the first game of the tournament, held on US soil for the first time in its history.
Meanwhile, the final is also a rematch in a couple of ways, as Argentina and Chile will clash in the tournament final on Sunday (8 pm ET, FS1, Univision, UDN) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The South American sides faced each other in their group stage openers at this Copa America, with Argentina prevailing 2-1. They also met in the previous Copa America final, in 2015, with Chile winning their first ever title, on home soil, in a penalty shootout.
Argentina defeated the US 4-0 in Tuesday's semifinal, while Chile defeated Colombia 2-0 in a weather-delayed semifinal on Wednesday to determine the entrants for the final and third-place game.
The US, whose best finish at the Copa America was fourth in 1995, have a chance to notch their best-ever finish if they can defeat Colombia the second time around.
