Christian Pulisic has struck again.
The rising US international found the net in dramatic fashion in Borussia Dortmund's latest preseason match, an International Champions Cup meeting with Manchester City in Shenzhen, China.
Entering the exhibition match as a second-half substitute, Pulisic popped up in City's penalty box deep in injury time to send the affair into extra time. Ghosting into the box unmarked, the Pennsylvania native capped a well-worked short corner-kick routine by the Bundesliga contenders with a first-time side-footed finish that skipped through a forest of legs in front of the goalmouth and rippled the net.
Dortmund would eventually lose the game via a penalty-kick shootout. But his goal bodes well for Pulisic as the 17-year-old looks to carve out 2016/17 playing time on a BVB squad featuring several high-powered offseason additions.
