Yes, the famous Hollywood gossip site has branched into sports, with MLS increasingly on its radar (for better or for worse). So much so that TMZ had one of its spotters hang out at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport this week to catch Olsen for a few questions about the Rooney reports shortly before he and his United colleagues boarded a flight to Salt Lake City for Saturday's match at Real Salt Lake (9 pm ET | TV & streaming info).
Olsen didn't give too much away, but he did manage to throw some shade on Lalas, who questioned the wisdom of D.C.'s Rooney pursuit in a previous chat with TMZ. Watch and enjoy:
