The LA Galaxy made it two wins in a row against their El Trafico rivals with a 3-0 victory over LAFC on Sunday night, and have been rewarded with three Starting XI places in the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 10.
Sebastian Lletget scored a brace, Cristian Pavon had a goal and an assist and David Bingham made seven saves in his second clean sheet of the season for the Galaxy, who have won four in a row overall.
Elsewhere, the Vancouver Whitecaps were also rewarded with three selections for their resilient victory over Toronto FC, with fullback Ali Adanan making the first team after contributing a pair of assists. Minnesota United also got two starting XI nods after Kevin Molino made two assists and Robin Lod scored twice in a 4-0 win against Real Salt Lake. And the Philadelphia Union were rewarded with two player selections — plus a nod to Jim Curtin as coach — for their 3-0 win over the New York Red Bulls.
Week 10 consisted of the 12 matches played on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6.
