In the Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 22 of the MLS season, dynamic duos are the name of the game.
Fafa Picault and Andres Ricaurte were both hugely influential — and collaborative — in FC Dallas' 3-0 Texas Derby victory. Teal Bunbury and Tajon Buchanan worked together to help the New England Revolution rally for a 4-3 win over D.C. United. And it was fullback Sam Vines and striker Andre Shinyashiki linking up to help the Colorado Rapids to a surprising 3-1 over the Seattle Sounders that boosted the postseason hopes of Robin Fraser's men.
Even Valentin Castellanos, who exploded for three goals and an assist in New York City FC's derby win over the New York Red Bulls, was aided by the play of Alex Ring, who was rewarded with a bench spot.
Elsewhere, Atlanta United's Marcelino Moreno earned his first selection since arriving in MLS, and Columbus Crew's SC's Eloy Room foiled the Philadelphia Union to make sure the Supporters' Shield race would still be in doubt on Decision Day presented by AT&T.
