Turns out if you storm to a history-making, five-goal lead by the 33rd minute, you probably had several individual performances worthy of recognition on the Team of the Week presented Audi.
That's what the Seattle Sounders proved in their stunning 7-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night, leading the way with three starters on the Week 11 Team of the Week roster: Striker Raul Ruidiaz, and wingers Jordan Morris and Joevin Jones, a trio that combined for a preposterous five goals and and seven assists over 90 minutes.
Elsewhere, the Colorado Rapids had to settle for two starting nods and a third on the bench after they roared to life with a 5-0 win over rival Real Salt Lake. Midfielder Dax McCarty had the single most productive offensive performance of his 15-year MLS career to lead Nashville SC to a big rivalry victory. And after one of the longest waits imaginable for his first MLS minutes, FC Dallas goalkeeper Kyle Zobeck squeaked onto the bench in his second career start.
Week 11 consisted of the 18 matches played between Sept. 9-13.
