Week 8 of the 2019 MLS regular season saw the final unbeaten teams fall and some of the winless teams pick up their first victories, a fact reflected in the Team of the Week presented by Audi.
FC Dallas and LAFC led the way in selections, as both teams had three players each selected after posting wins on the weekend. Dallas also had manager of the week honors for Luchi Gonzalez.
Audi Player Index Spotlight
This week's spotlight player is Toronto FC midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo, who had two goals and an assist in a wild 4-3 win over Minnesota United on Friday. Pozuelo had 1,331 points, best in MLS for the week.
In addition to his goals and assist, the Spaniard had five key passes, a 67 percent strike rate, and completed 78 percent of his passes in the opposition half.
