When you score six goals on anyone, it's a safe bet you'll have a few individual performances worthy of recognition. So it is for the Portland Timbers, who lead the way with three selections on the MLS Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 16 after their 6-3 win over the LA Galaxy on Wednesday night.
Jeremy Ebobisse got the starting nod for a brace that included a thunderbolt of a free kick, as did Yimmi Chara for his two assists and slick work to set up Diego Valeri's volley to make it 3-1 just after halftime. Felipe Mora's brace also earned him a bench spot.
Elsewhere, Inter Miami CF star Gonzalo Higuain earned his first Team of the Week selection for his own game-winning, set-piece golazo, while New York City FC, the Philadelphia Union, San Jose Earthquakes, Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC also placed multiple selections on the 18-man squad.
