Montreal Impact defender Wandrille Lefevre’s suspension has been lifted, the league announced in a Friday statement:
"MLS has conducted a review concerning the post of Wandrille Lefevre, his suspension, and the Players Union’s grievance. As part of that review, the League and Montreal have spoken with the player and expressed their concerns, and also heard the player’s explanation. As a result of that review, and in light of the player's statement today, the suspension has been rescinded and Wandrille Lefevre is eligible to play this weekend."
Lefevre was initially suspended Tuesday. He’ll now be eligible to play in the club’s match against Atlanta United FC on Saturday (1 pm ET | CTV, TSN, TVA Sports; MLS LIVE in the US).
