Seattle Sounders star Nicolas Lodeiro has been called up to the Uruguay national team once again. La Celeste has two November friendlies against Brazil and France.
They haven't gotten an updated headshot with his new blonde hair, though.
Lodeiro, 29, has made 53 international appearances, but narrowly missed out on making the final squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He made three appearances in both the 2010 and 2014 World Cups. When he returned to the Sounders after making Uruguay's provisional World Cup squad, he took his game to another level, a lead catalyst in Seattle's second-half surge.
Before joining Uruguay squad in May, Lodeiro had no goals and two assists in five games. After? He notched eight goals and 14 assists in 22 matches while leading the Sounders to second place in the Western Conference.
