TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
New England Revolution defender Claude Dielna is interested in a move to Real Betis in Spain’s La Liga when his MLS contract expires, according to a report out of France.
According to Foot Mercato, the 30-year-old native of France, would be keen to return to Europe, where he’s previously played for Olympiacos and Sheffield Wednesday with loan spells at Sedan, Ajaccio, Slovan Bratislava and Dinamo Bucuresti.
Dielna has appeared in 28 games with the Revs since arriving last summer, playing at center back and left back. He wore the captain's armband for much of 2018 before falling out of favor over the last month. His last appearance was in a 2-0 road loss to the New York Red Bulls on July 21.
