Newcastle United has apparently joined a growing list of clubs interested in Atlanta United talisman Miguel Almiron's services, according to Italian outlet CalcioMercato.
As Sports Illustrated explains here, Arsenal and Inter Milan had already been linked with the 23-year-old Paraguayan, who had nine goals and 14 assists in his debut MLS season. It might've been more if not for a hamstring injury toward the end of the regular season.
He did recover in time to grind out 120 minutes in Atlanta's disappointing defeat on penalties following a 0-0 Knockout Round draw against Columbus.
