TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Report
Montreal Impact goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau has asked for a trade, according to TVA Sports’ Nicolas Martineau.
Martineau reported on Wednesday that Crepeau, 23, feels his playing time will be limited in 2018 and wants to pursue his career elsewhere.
A Quebec native, Crepeau signed a Homegrown deal with the Impact in March 2013. He made all three of his career MLS appearances in 2017, and started the final two games of the regular season after the Impact had been eliminated from playoff contention. He started all four of Montreal's matches at the 2017 Canadian Championship and has two career caps for the Canada men’s national team.
The Impact announced last month that they exercised the contract option for starting goalkeeper Evan Bush. Crepeau was already under contract for 2018.
