As Austin FC continue their roster build ahead of their 2021 MLS expansion season, the club has been linked to Paraguayan international Cecilio Dominguez, according to reports.
The 25-year-old winger currently plays for Independiente in Argentina where he's scored three goals in 23 appearances. He's been productive in his professional career, netting 13 goals in 58 appearances in Liga MX for Club America from 2017-2019 and another 25 in 69 games for Cerro Porteno in Paraguay before moving to Independiente.
He also has 11 senior caps for Paraguay since debuting in 2013, although he's still searching for his first international goal.
Austin FC currently have one player on their first team roster, also from Paraguay, in forward Rodney Redes. Dominguez and Redes have the same agent.
