Aston Villa are reportedly lining up a bid for US national team right back DeAndre Yedlin.
Yedlin, 23, moved to Tottenham from the Seattle Sounders in January 2015, but has played sparingly with the club. He spent last season on loan to Sunderland and did not make the bench for Spurs’ English Premier League opener at Everton last Saturday.
Now The Telegraph is reporting that Aston Villa are lining up a £3 million bid for the American international, who appeared in five of the USMNT’s matches at this summer’s Copa America Centenario.
Villa were relegated to the English Championship last year after finishing dead-last in the EPL. USMNT goalkeeper Brad Guzan left the club earlier this summer when he signed for newly promoted Middlesbrough.
