Andres Reyes started 13 games for Inter Miami CF during their 2020 MLS campaign, but the center back may not be returning for 2021.
According to El Deportivo, Inter Miami aren't exercising the 21-year-old's purchase option from Colombian side Atletico Nacional. Reyes initially signed with Inter Miami in February 2020 on a one-year loan as they approached their expansion season.
Reyes is reportedly already back in Colombia and while head coach Alexandre Guimaraes wants the Colombian youth international to play for him next season, the club remains open to offers from abroad.
After squeaking into the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs as the Eastern Conference's No. 10 seed, Inter Miami lost 3-0 to fellow expansion side Nashville SC in the Play-In Round. Following that early exit, the club declined options on eight players, including Reyes and veteran goalkeeper Luis Robles.
