Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando will be retiring after the 2019 MLS season, Rimando announced on social media.
Rimando will turn 40-years-old in June and is entering his 20th season in MLS after making his debut in 2000 with the Miami Fusion. He joined RSL in 2007, where he's been a mainstay in the 18-yard-box, making 340 regular season appearances with the club.
The keeper also featured for D.C. United during his career and made 22 appearances with the US national team. He has twice won MLS Cup (2004, 2009) and is a five-time MLS All-Star.
Rimando is MLS's all-time leader in games (485), saves (1630) and shutouts (144).
