For the second time this season, Javier Morales has won AT&T Goal of the Week.
This time it was for his technically perfect strike against the Houston Dynamo last Saturday night. Joao Plata fed the ball to the 35-year-old playmaker, who waited until it bounced just right to hit it past a diving Tyler Deric.
Morales pulled away from the field, taking home 39.19 percent of the vote in the end. Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Matias Laba finished second with 25.68 percent for his equalizing effort vs. the Portland Timbers.
Sacha Kjlestan of the New York Red Bulls came in third with 19.32 percent of the vote, ahead of fourth place finisher Lee Nguyen of the New England Revolution. Fabian Castillo of FC Dallas rounded out the top five.
