Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando continued to rewrite the MLS record books on Saturday, as he played in his 200th career win.
The victory, by a 3-2 scoreline over D.C. United at Rio Tinto Stadium, makes him the first goalkeeper in league history to reach that mark.
The mark joins a long list of records by Rimando. He holds the all-time marks in saves, shutouts, starts and minutes played by any player, regardless of position. In his 19-year-career, with the Miami Fusion, D.C. United and RSL, he has won two MLS Cups, been a five-time MLS All-Star selection, and has been a US national team player since 2002.
Real Salt Lake released a tribute video to Rimando after Saturday's banner night.
