Zac MacMath, back in goal for the Colorado Rapids while Tim Howard serves a three-match suspension, earned Save of the Week honors for Week 8 for his stop on Minnesota United's Christian Ramirez.
In the 61st minute of the Loons' eventual 1-0 victory last weekend, Ramirez sent a glancing header toward goal -- only to see MacMath get his right hand to the ball and tip it over the crossbar.
That save earned 54 percent of the vote in fan balloting, with Joe Bendik of Orlando City SC at 40 percent. New England's Cody Cropper and Chicago's Jorge Bava received 4 percent and 2 percent, respectively.
