Donovan Ricketts' wall didn't quite hold up, but the veteran 'keeper sure did on the Fourth of July.
After Juninho's rocket of a free kick from just outside the area split the wall, Ricketts showed great reactions and strength to divert the Brazilian's effort over the bar, keeping his team in the lead against the LA Galaxy (for the time being), and eventually earning Save of the Week honors for Week 17. The award was Ricketts' second of 2014.
Ricketts' save drew 33.01% of the vote, easily beating out the rest of the field, which roughly split the rest of the total. Clint Irwin's double save against the Columbus Crew was the closest contender, drawing 19.18% of the vote.
Final Votes - Week 17:

3. Bill Hamid (DC): 17.17%
