Shortly after wrapping up a legendary professional career that included a three-year final chapter with New York City FC, Italian talisman Andrea Pirlo has been honored with an "End of an Era" player card in EA Sports FIFA 18 video game.
The card allows players to select Pirlo when constructing a team in FIFA Ultimate Team mode.
The "End of an Era" series honors some of the games' great players as they step away from the pitch. Pirlo's former New York City teammate Frank Lampard and former LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard received "End of an Era" cards in FIFA 17 a year ago.
