Orlando City head coach Adrian Heath praises Brek Shea in lengthy Q&A with Orlando Sentinel

Brek Shea - Lewis Neal - Orlando City - Celebrating

Orlando City SC head coach Adrian Heath reflected on the Lionsā€™ first season in MLS in a lengthy Q&A with the Orlando Sentinelā€™s Paul Tenorio published on Tuesday, sharing his thoughts on the clubā€™s adjustment to a new league, his hopes for next year and his feelings about a certain US international.

Heath spoke in depth about Orlando defender/midfielder Brek Shea, praising the versatile 25-year-old following his solid ā€“ if slightly injury-marred ā€“ 2015.

"When heā€™s healthy he makes a difference from anywhere he plays because of just his physical attributes,ā€ Heath said. "You donā€™t get people his size being as athletic and as good a footballer. I donā€™t think people realize how good a footballer he is.

"What weā€™ve got to do now is hopefully he gets some time off during the [winter] to recharge, get ready and come in and have a great preseason,ā€ continued Heath. "I still think heā€™s about 70 percent. I think we can get him up to 90, 95 percent and if he does, heā€™ll be one of the best players in the league."
