TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Extension

FC Dallas and fullback Bryan Reynolds have agreed to a contract extension through 2024 with a team option for 2025, the club announced Wednesday.

Reynolds, 19, signed a Homegrown contract ahead of the 2017 season at just 15-years-old. He has made 16 MLS appearances throughout his young career, but is set for an extended run of playing time at right back after the departure of Reggie Cannon to Boavista. He has started each of Dallas' last four matches.

“Bryan Reynolds has flourished whenever he has gotten an opportunity,” FCD president Dan Hunt said in a club statement. “He has a bright future and we’re thrilled that he’ll continue to grow with us at FC Dallas and at the national team level.”

Reynolds has been called up to various US youth national team camps and was the youngest player on the U.S. U-17 team during the Concacaf Championship in 2017. He also represented the United States in the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India.

“FC Dallas has been my home since I was 12 years old,” said Reynolds. “I’m excited to continue my career with the club and look forward to helping create championship moments for our fans to celebrate.”
